• 1980 Bandler and Grinder split
• 1981: The first trials of many intellectual property begin. NLP training courses began to be developed by many individuals. Considering the diversity of developers and trainers, there is no single, definitive NLP system.
• 1982-87: Grinder and Judith DeLozier collaborated to develop the new code of NLP.
• 1984-87: search in experimental counseling psychology in the United States National Research Council gave NLP overall negative assessment marking a decrease of NLP research interest
• 1988-89: Bandler Design Human Engineering develops and later ™ Neuro-Hypnotic Repatterning ™
• 1990: In the United Kingdom and other countries NLP certification courses and providers begin
• 1996-97: Bandler Grinder claimant files suit against trademark infringement and property Intellectual NLP.

Where co-creators are now

The end of 2000 reached a settlement between Bandler and Grinder when they agreed, they are co-creators and co-founder of the technology of Neuro-linguistic programming ".

NLP continues to be an open field of training with different trainers and practitioners in developing their own methods and concepts.
