Although most of us associate hypnosis with the client sitting in a comfortable chair with hypnosis therapist or sitting to standing orders suggestive. There are actually many techniques of self-hypnosis that you can learn and apply yourself, and this way of taking complete control of your mind. To put it another way these techniques will help you become your own mind manager. Below follows a description of the basis of these techniques you can change and adapt to suit your needs. This technique is much the same kernel method that therapists use hypnosis their customers. Be aware though that you should be very careful about which states you program your subconscious mind. So take your time and select these statements very carefully.

The first thing you have to decide is the goal of self-hypnosis: What you 're really trying to find or to accomplish? Once you've set your goal with the session of self-hypnosis, you should keep this goal. Never choose more than one goal at a time and resist the temptation to solve all your problems in one package. You simply will not be able to do so, but instead of creating even more problems trying this. So how should the statements or suggestions that you implanted in your subconscious mind be?

They must be positive and represent something good. Never use suggestions like "I'll learn to bungee jumping, no matter how I'm afraid. " That does not make you even more afraid. So clean all the negative words you formulate your ideas and replace them with positive words such as "I'm really looking forward to bungee jumping and so have the fantastic feeling of freedom when I fly through the air."

The suggestions you make should be easy to remember. Say you want to communicate better with others, then you can make such a suggestion as "I am a damn good communicator. "Now, write it down, then add all the reasons you want to achieve this objective, the more that you expect will happen when you reach it. Each time you repeat the statement, see that you manage to reinforce the message in your subconscious mind. It is also important that suggestions that you are short, direct and specific such as "I eat only healthy foods."

When you make your sessions of self-hypnosis make sure you are not disturbed. Unplug the phone, lock the doors and make yourself comfortable. You might ask on a bed or sitting on a chair, back straight.

  • Focus your attention on a point slightly above eye level
  • Take a few breaths deep as you repeat the word "relax" for you
  • When you breath imagine that you are getting rid of all the bad air caused all the evil in you and that you replace the air you breathe in
  • Close your eyes and try to focus on a small number (3 to 5) sounds like you can hear water running in the pipeline, the wind blowing outside, the rain tapping on the roof, so be aware of what you feel at the moment, as the temperature of your skin, your body weight against the chair or bed, etc.
  • Start of descent to your subconscious mind by imagining that you are walking down a spiral staircase of ten steps on a beautiful garden that waits at the end of your descent. For each step you take you have to switch layers of clouds and you feel more relaxed and all your worries are gradually leaving you. When you unmount the last step, you set foot on a green lawn with a light on it from direct sunlight.
  • You should now be relaxed enough to begin rehearsal your suggestions or statements to your subconscious mind. Repeat three times each suggestion with a short break in between. When you are finished with your suggestions Imagine that you go slowly up the stairs.
  • Now the self hypnosis session is over and you're back in your ordinary state of mind.
