We begin to establish rapport with the customer by passing through the family and social ritual the introduction, and shaking hands. And that familiarity provides a feeling of comfort to the new situation.

Of course, there are some simple documents to fill. When completed, the client will enter into the therapist's office and sit in a comfortable chair in the room. The hypnotherapist will read the paperwork, and ask some questions, and participate in a chat. The conversation favors in the process of obtaining customer relationship, which is necessary because the client must trust and feel comfortable with the therapist to have a successful session.

Then the therapist asks the patient about the subject to change. The information gathering phase is critical because consumers often give away the solution to your situation by describing how the trouble. For example, the author worked with a woman who wept uncontrollably when he heard music. He had scarcely been able to leave his house for three years. For example, if he heard music on holiday shopping in December, or someone singing a song in an elevator, she began to mourn inconsolably.

She gave the solution when he said that when she heard the music, "see a (mental) picture of the house I grew up, and start to mourn." Only taken few minutes to use a hypnotic technique Neuro-Linguistic Programming that wiped out the image of activation, only to be replaced by a image that made him feel good. At that time the author sang a song for her, and she was a look of wonder and joy on his face. Do not mourn! Then the client was taken deep hypnosis to give suggestions for continued comfort and joy in music listening.

After collecting the necessary information is the time of the hypnosis session to begin. The therapist will use any of a variety of induction methods to guide the client into a hypnotic state. There is a common misconception that some people are more hypnotizable than others, which began an investigation faults during the 20th century. The researchers used a monotonous recording with a group of subjects, and concluded that those who do not enter hypnosis "unhypnotzable. The reality is that anyone can be hypnotized if the methods used to his personality. A person may be necessary to bring some balance with rapid fire verbal techniques confusion, and the next may be necessary to slow, soothing images to go into trance. Both are capable of entering a hypnotic state satisfactory, there need only be conducted by different methods.

Once the client is guided through hypnotic techniques he or she is instructed to open your eyes and return to a state normal conscious and the session is over. The customer usually remember everything that happened, though occasionally some customers may not remember, or even parts of the greater part of the session.
